Where It All Came From

sj2_optIn 2008, Stephen Riley (Managing Director) went on a journey to Ensenada in Mexico to get involved in an opportunity where he could one day look back and say, “that’s when THIS happened”. With a team of adults and young people from around the world he helped build a house for a needy family and knew that he had to encourage others to do the same.

Alison Jackson, Assistant Headteacher from Marden High said.
“We are very proud of the six students who participated in the M10 mission in 2014 and we have seen and heard them grow as individuals as a result of taking part. The M10 process builds confidence and character as well as promoting social change and active citizenship and the young people from Marden have really been changed by the amazing experience they were given.
Through the opportunity to alter the lives of others and see the difference they can make, they have become highly motivated and determined young people. They were fully supported from beginning to end by the M10 team and through clear and considerate communication with parents and carers the whole process was a very positive experience. We are hopeful that more of our students will take part this year and we look forward to working with M10 again.”
